NT: Nitschke threatens court action to get EXIT records back

Euthanasia campaigner PHILIP NITSCHKE has threatened court action next week if Queenslandpolice don't return seized records unrelated to the suicide of NANCY CRICK.

Queensland detectives investigating the death seized five computers in three raidswith Northern Territory and South Australian police in Darwin and Adelaide on Tuesday.

Dr NITSCHKE says most of the data, photographic film and videos seized are the recordsof the voluntary euthanasia organisation EXIT Australia and are not related to Ms CRICK'Sdeath.

He expects to initiate court action on Monday or Tuesday if the police don't returnthe records pertaining to another 3,000 people.

Dr NITSCHKE has agreed with former Northern Territory chief minister MARSHALL PERRONthat the investigation is politically driven.

But Queensland PETER BEATTIE has denied the charge.
