NSW: Major disruption likely for first day of UNSW, Syd Uni

SYDNEY, Feb 28 AAP - Teachers and general staff at Sydney University and the University of
New South Wales will strike tomorrow, disrupting classes on the first day of the academic
year.

At Sydney University, members of the National Tertiary Education and Industry Union (NTEU)
will strike for the whole day, while Community and Public Sector Union (CPSU) members plan to
strike from 6am until noon.

At the UNSW, academic staff will strike for 48 hours.

A rally will be held at the Chancellery Entrance at 1pm.
